Judged by these lyrics T.O.P does not have a have a lot of happy memories when it comes to love. (Or not any that he decides to write about, anyway.) He also comes across as extremely melancholic.
Do these lyrics refer to a past girlfriend he’s still hung up about? Someone who is still a friend? Or only ever has been a friend? (Because the whole friend thing recurs a couple of times… and no, I’m not gonna name names, however tempting. ;-)
